R.E.D.I. Training provides mandatory Basic Life Support updates for surgery and clinic staff.  The standard training session lasts 2 hours and covers:

• Resuscitation training (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Anaphylaxis

• Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

• Emergency equipment review

• Recovery position

In addition, our dental course is specifically designed to cover the seven medical emergencies as recommended by the Resuscitation Council and General Dental Council 'Scope of Practice' 2013 guidelines:

​

• Allergies

• Asthma

• Diabetes

• Epilepsy

• Syncope (Fainting)

• Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack)

• Cerebral Vascular Accident (Stroke) 

 

Our trainer will come to your surgery at a time that is least disruptive to your working day.  The trainer provides all equipment needed for training and practice.

The training is geared towards all members of staff, including non-medical and administrative and is in line with your GMS/QOF contract.

​

The trainer will provide handouts and certificates (valid for 1 year) for each attendee.

 

The course costs £660 for up to 12 participants.

• £495 for up to 9 staff
